Hi,
ReplyDeletethis is funny, I actually made myself a cup of tea before I sat down - without having read your recommendation before - to enjoy this wonderful, miraculous Müllerin, and to relax. I didn´t need the tissues! :-) Jonas is always kind of a magician. I´ve heard him singing Die schöne Müllerin a few weeks ago in Paris, and this Wigmore-Müllerin was sometimes a little different, but great as always. I´m already looking forward to Adriana...
I felt , although i didn't think it possible over the radio just like in the Wigmore, bewitched!! It will forver remain one of the things he has ung that have touched me most, totally beyond any possibility of explanation. And it is one of those time i will be foerver grateful to have been there to hear it live. Glad you enjoyed it and looking forward to the Adriana a lot myself!
ReplyDeleteI didn't need the tissues either.. :-) but this will be a record of goosebumps and moments of holding one's breath per hour hard to beat ;-)
ReplyDeletethank you for the recommendation.
ReplyDeletedo you know that since next saturday (4th dezember) you can listen on bbc3 to ADriana Lecouvreur (free, for 7 days), with Kaufmann in it?
ReplyDeletethank you again for the Mullerin recommendation:-)
